The Challenge
To present a high-specification and visually co-ordinated approach for AHDB Potatoes and six industry co-exhibitors at this key export event. The 150m² island stand had to be innovative, attractive and functional as well as clearly communicate the client’s key messages and incorporate UKTI branding.
Potato Europe is a key medium sized industry event with up to 200 exhibitors and 12,000 visitors. It is organised every year on farm land in one of the four main potato producing countries with the 2015 event being held in Belgium.
Our Solution
A stunning British Pavilion was created with imposing Union Jack archways adding height and framing the open and welcoming stand. The new AHDB Potatoes logo was showcased throughout with colourful photography providing the perfect backdrop to the large bespoke bar and networking areas with comfortable sofas and Union Jack cushions.
The six co-exhibitors had clearly defined areas from branded product demonstration pods to graphics display walls complete with pre-loaded video screens and meeting furniture all had easy access to the exhibition aisles and stand hospitality.
Laminate wood flooring and artificial turf handled the farmers muddy boots with ease and was quick to clean. Two concealed secure storage rooms kept everything tidy while a third allowed for fresh product samples to be prepared and served throughout the show.
The Result
‘AHDB Potatoes has worked with Symbiosis for all their overseas (and many UK) trade events in recent years. We need a supplier that can do everything; in other words, a supplier who can design, supply, transport, build, stock, staff and manage the stand from conception right through until stand breakdown and beyond. We require high standards from our stand contractors, especially for overseas events and Symbiosis have never let us down. They have a friendly and flexible approach, and are always a pleasure to work with.’
